The IAG FD 60/12 represents an attractive alternative to conventional pressure reduction systems. The unit automatically reduces any intake pressure of up to 60 bar to a level of 15 bar – with no loss in flow rate. The pressure reduction system also closes automatically when the supplied unit is shut down, without any need to drain water. This system eliminates any pressure overload to the attack line, even when no water is discharged. A pressure relief valve is integrated in the output side to provide additional safety.

The FD 60/12 is used in systems having high output pressure levels, such as with snow-making units and high-pressure lines in factories, in order to be able to utilize the water supply for extinguishing with conventional firefighting equipment.
