LFD-heated line filter with pressure controller
The LFD is a compact line filter with a filter fitting that is decoupled from the housing and a backflushable exhaust gas pressure controller. It can optionally be supplied as an NO pressure governor, reducing inlet pressures of up to 6 bar to an outlet pressure of max. 250 mBar; or as an NC pressure governor that remains closed to max. 3 bar of inlet pressure until a vacuum of -70 mBar relative pressure is applied on the sample gas outlet.
During measurement the vacuum controller adjusts inlet pressures of up to 6 bar to max. 50 mBar on the outlet. The LFD can be coupled to an extremely compact sampling unit using an HKL (heated/cooled line), enabling samples to be taken in a range of 50-650°C and 0-6 bar. With all IAG pre-filters, great value is placed on the highest measuring accuracy and quality. This means lasting, complete gas-tightness and compact, careful construction.
The filter chamber has a minimum dead volume and an extremely uniform heating system with a short warm-up time, and can accept all IAG filter elements. Heat can be regulated using any current temperature regulator. As with every IAG device, the pin assignment and type of temperature sensor can be supplied according to the customer’s wishes.
